Almyra at Kina has two individual luxury suites situated on the idyllic Kina Peninsula within the Ruby Coast, and ideally positioned for exploring the Abel Tasman and wider Tasman/Nelson region, with its wealth of attractions.
Almyra at Kina offers both a self contained apartment suitable for one or two couples to share and also a brand new B & B luxury suite within a newly built contemporary property. It is set in extensive secluded grounds on an elevated sheltered site on Kina Peninsula overlooking the Kina Estuary and the Mt Arthur ranges, and looking across to Nelson and the Tasman sea.

Almyra at Kina has two individual luxury suites in a stunning coastal setting. Both suites have amazing views of the estuary and Mt Arthur. The accommodation has been designed and equipped to a high standard to offer complete privacy, relaxation and comfort for couples looking to get away from it all. Almyra at Kina has its own entrance and driveway with parking for both car and boat & trailer, separate from the main house. Free WIFI is provided for those who need to keep in touch, even whilst luxuriating in this stunning coastal hideaway. Both suites have shared use of a guest laundry within the accommodation area.
Retreat Facilities
- Swimming Pool - Resident guests are welcome to use our outdoor swimming pool in season. The pool is heated by solar. Beach/swimming towels are supplied for guests use.
- Petanque - Guests are welcome to use our Petanque court within the grounds of the property.
- Laundry facilities - Facilities are available for all guests in the accommodation complex & guests are welcome to use the washing line behind the apartment. There is an iron & ironing board in both the apartment and the Tasman Suite.
- Internet services - Free WIFI & broadband connection. There are fax facilities within the main house if required. A telephone can be made available for local calls only. We have good cellphone coverage. DVDs, books, magazines and games
- We have a large collection of DVDs available together with magazines, books and games - obtainable from Fiona and Ron in the main house.
- Special Requests - If you want to make your stay extra special, why not order champagne, flowers, chocolates etc prior to your arrival. Please let us know your requirements. 3 days minimum notice is required for any special requests and the cost will be added to your final account.
- Outside - Almyra at Kina is in a spectacular location, set in three acres of coastal garden leading down to the water's edge. The decks provide sitting areas to enjoy endless hours of watching awesome views over the mountains and estuary and the ever changing scene.

Accommodation Rates for Almyra at Kina B & B self contained Coastal Retreat
Our tariff for two people in our Kina Suite or our B & B Tasman Suite is from NZ$275-NZ$350 per night, depending on the season, including either an extensive breakfast basket to our Kina Suite guests or a home cooked breakfast served to our guests staying in the Tasman Suite.
