Set in landscaped gardens on a bend of the Kauaeranga river with breathtaking sea views of the Firth of Thames and Kauaeranga river to the Pinnacles and Coromandel national park. An ideal base to discover the Coromandel and surrounding area from.

Sunny romantic bedrooms each have stunning views and a private entrance leading on to the guest terrace and sun lounge. The house is full of history, graceful and elegant but has all the modern facilities today's traveller and vacationer requires including WIFI throughout the property, guest laundry service, an outside hot spa pool and private off street car parking. Holiday, honeymoon and speciality packages, plus sightseeing and adventure days out can be arranged.

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation
Guests are accommodated in sunny well appointed rooms in the guest wing, each with their own stunning view of sparkling water or peaceful valley, and all are en suite with private entrances, equipped with WIFI Internet access, TV/radio, safe, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, toiletries and quality bedding plus all guests have private secure off-street parking.

Each guest room has French doors opening onto a delightful terrace with a private guest sun lounge with 180-degree views. There is also a spa hot tub situated in the Bougainvillea garden with views of the Pinnacle's ranges and a therapeutic infrared sauna for guests' use.

We love entertaining and cooking for all our guests and offer a 2 or 3 course evening meal (by prior arrangement) using only the best locally sourced ingredients. Our cooked breakfast is just the perfect way to start your day. So let us welcome you and look after you and all you have to do is enjoy.

Coromandel Location
Cotswold Cottage is just 15 minutes from the Pinnacles walking tracks and 5 minutes from the historical gold mining township of Thames, with a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and museums. Cotswold Cottage is the perfect place to stay to explore all the beautiful attractions on the Coromandel Peninsula, stunning scenery, spectacular coastline, history, beaches, fantastic sea and native bird life plus it's diverse arts and crafts. Cathedral Cove, the location for some of the filming of the new Narnia film, is one such place and well worth a visit.

• Neatherwood Suite - A Deluxe Queen Double En suite with Spa bath and Shower. This is a spacious, elegant room - our best, very comfortable with valley, hill and garden views. Special features - luxurious private double spa bath with shower, private sitting area. Rate: $215 (Peak Season - 1/09/2011 to 1/03/2012).
• Holker Room - Deluxe Queen Double with En suite Shower. A beautiful, sunny, romantic room with double aspect views across the Kauaeranga River and Valley to the sparkling waters of the Hauraki Gulf. Rate: $195.
  
• Aynsome Room - Super King or Twin Single with En suite Shower. A superior deluxe room with valley garden and river views. Can be configured as a super king bed or twin king single beds by arrangement. Rate: $175.
