Many guests who come to Dunalistair House, take advantage of some of the fantastic golf and fishing in the area, in particular for golf at Kinloch, Wairakei and Taupo.

The Kinloch Club was rated a Top 100 golf course in the world for 2011. Kinloch is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, and the only course created by the master designer in New Zealand. It is considered by many to be one of Jack Nicklaus' finest designs to date, offering a tough challenge of golf on a links style layout, with heavily undulating greens.

Dunalistair House owner, Alistair Tod is also able to create packages for golf excursions to other great courses in New Zealand including Cape Kidnappers, Kauri Cliffs, The Hills and Jacks Point to name a few.
