Flutes luxury accommodation is situated at McLeod Bay, Whangarei Heads, near Whangarei in the ‘winterless Northland’ region of New Zealand. We are just a 2.5 hour drive from Auckland, and only 20 minutes from Whangarei airport.

Flutes has 2 comfortable air conditioned vehicles which seats up to 8 and 14 passengers respectively (including the driver), and is fully licensed to provide passenger transport services. We will provide tour and shuttle services for guests visiting the area, as well as for local residents

Shopping – eg that girls day out at Sylvia Park?

Local Tours - Local tours can be tailored to meet your requirements, such as vists to:

Whangarei Falls
A gentle tour around Whangarei Heads, visiting a selection of our beautiful beaches- with a stop for morning or afternoon tea!

Further Afield - Other attractions are further afield, but still within easy reach, and you can therefore use Flutes as a well positioned tour base from which to see more of Northland. A few suggestions:

A day trip to The Bay of Islands. Visit Paihia,Russell,and/or Kerikeri

Enjoy any of the Fullers water excursions

A trip to Cape Reinga and 90 Mile Beach-we can link you with the coach service
