Accommodation & Facilities
All our rooms have breathtaking views, even from the laundry, of either Mt Pirongia or the fabulous Waikato countryside of rolling green pastures with a background of the Coromandel ranges, Mt Te Aroha and Mt Maungatautari. At night the lights of Hamilton, Te Awamutu and Pirongia are sparkling in the distance.
The King room has its own private spa bath and separate shower bathroom. While the Queen room has a large modern bathroom with shower. The twin bedded bedroom shares this bathroom if the House is full. All bathrooms have complimentary toiletries, hair dryer and fluffy towels. Every bedroom has a wardrobe, luggage racks, cosy bathrobes and of course, a most comfortable bed with pure cotton bed linens.
Tea and coffee making facilities with a jar of our favourite cookies are available to all rooms. Help yourself whenever the need arises!
Enjoy the peace and quiet and views from the lounge or relax in the TV lounge and watch the large flatscreen LCD, Sky TV or listen to some wonderful music. The choice is yours.
There are lots of outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the sunshine or the evening sunset with a glass of wine. Or, relax by the pond and let the Tui, a NZ native bird, entertain you.

The Farm - Nestled on the foothills of Mt. Pirongia the farm covers 200 acres of fertile soils and rolling paddocks.
The grass grows every day! It was once a dairy farm but now Chris and Sally organically farm dairy heifers, fatten beef cattle, and have a small flock of Angora goats.
They are very friendly and look forward to our guests feeding them their favourite nuts.
Lots of other wildlife also enjoy the farm and the views – including pheasants, the native Tui, Kingfisher birds, rabbits, hares, ducks and you may even get lucky and see a NZ native Falcon! There is a beautiful stand of native bush and lovely clear streams flowing down the mountain.
