Nestled amongst some of Marlborough's most luxurious homes at Marlborough Ridge Resort, Piwakawaka Lodge offers a peace and quiet with all that Marlborough has to offer only a stones throw away.

Accommodation
Piwakawaka Lodge offers two cosy double bedrooms both with peaceful views in quiet, green and natural surroundings. Each room has its own television and there is wireless internet access. There is a guest bathroom and separate toilet. A private guest lounge is provided with a larger television screen and a great collection of DVD's. There is also a computer available in the lounge for guest use.

A continental breakfast is offered in the owners sunny dining room or, weather permitting, outside.

Guests can help themselves to tea and coffee any time.

Local Attractions
Piwakawaka Lodge is situated adjacent to the third green of the Marlborough golf course. Across the lane, is the tee off for the fourth hole. The Lodge has a golf cart for guest use at a small cost.

The surrounding area has several well known wineries within a 5 minute drive, Villa Maria, (walking distance) Wither Hills, Highfield, and some less known boutique wineries also, Auntsfield (historic significance as it was the first winery in Blenheim and has a very interesting tour), Fromm, River Farm, and Isabel Estate. Seven to eight minutes drive away are another large group on wineries along Rapaura road. Many of the wineries offer an excellent dining experience too.

The Omaka Airfield which has an Historic display is a popular attraction for many visitors. It is about 8 minutes away by car.

Blenheim is a small town but offers some varied dining venues. Renwick also offers some good dining options especially in the local 'Cork and Keg' English style pub.

Cycling is very popular in Marlborough and there are various trails marked out and lovely scenery to be enjoyed. Piwakawaka lodge has two bicycles for guest use at a small charge. The Lodge also has two genuine Cambodian Cyclos for a different experience and a bit of fun.
