Sarnia Park Boutique Lodge, accommodation, wedding and function centre is located in Cambridge, New Zealand, just twenty minutes drive from Hamilton Airport and an hour from Auckland. It is five minutes drive, or 15 minutes bike ride on the new cycle track, to Lake Karapiro, 15 minutes to Maungatautari Ecological Island, Mystery Creek and one hours drive to Rotorua, Tauranga and Waitomo Caves.

Adjacent to the purpose built function centre is an historic New Zealand church. The property is 29 acres and has eight acres of manicured gardens which are designed to include garden rooms for wedding ceremonies, walled English rose gardens and a wide range of trees and ornamental shrubs. The remaining acres include a pine plantation with the balance in pasture which is grazed by jersey heifers. Sarnia Park has position, luxury accommodation and provides easy access to key points within the local area.
Luxury Accommodation - Sarnia Park Lodge's seven well appointed bedrooms each have a view of the beautiful garden and surrounding countryside. The rooms include a bridal suite, a family suite, four other double rooms (two have two queen size beds) and a single room which has access to a full bathroom with a bath. Room service is available and the two spacious lounges, formal dining room, bar and ballroom open to the lovely gardens and enhance the relaxing environment.
Magical Weddings - Sarnia Park has beautiful, manicured gardens which provide a range of options for your wedding. For a ceremony in the garden you can choose from: the Lake which features a pergola and all white plantings, the Cherry blossom walk, the Croquet Lawn with its own pergola or the 100 year old chapel which seats 70. The chapel provides a wet weather option, or the ceremony can be transferred to the ballroom in the Lodge. The purpose built function centre which features a high, timbered ceiling, its own commercial kitchen and bar seats up to 200 guests and is perfect for the after wedding function. A wedding in the garden, drinks on the lawn under umbrellas and shade trees while the wedding party have their photos taken in the stunning gardens, a reception in the beautiful function centre and a night in the bridal suite. Perfection! The function centre is BYO and while you can choose your own caterer we now offer our full catering services in the Function Centre and the Lodge. Sarnia Park provide an experienced Wedding Manager and a second bar person as a part of our wedding package.
Function Facilities
Function Centre - A purpose built 200 seat function centre with a dance floor, full bar facilities and a large, well equipped kitchen. The building has a high stud, timbered ceiling and opens out to a tiled terrace and expansive lawn. At night the view of the 100 year old chapel is flood lit, there is uplighting under selected trees, the fountains are lit and the lodge is flood lit. It is a very special venue for a wedding reception, social event, conference or conference dinner.
Sarnia Park Lodge - The elegant and versatile rooms in the Lodge can be used for small conferences, meetings, training seminars, corporate dinners or for a special family event. They can be also be used as break-out rooms for a conference held in the Function Centre. The large entrance "ballroom" which has a sweeping staircase to the mezzanine floor is perfect for pre-dinner drinks and/or a cocktail party. The Lodge is licenced and we have our own chef and staff to cater for in-house functions. We would be pleased to discuss your requirements for your next function.

- From $150-$450. Our rates, which are based on two people per room, one in the single room, include bed and full breakfast with dinner available on request (24 hours notice required). Special rates may apply for group bookings and bookings for more than one night. Winter rates apply from 1 May-30 September.
