In addition, during winter, there are the ski/snowboarding slopes of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, within 20 minutes by car or the bus service is a few minutes walk away. About an hours drive are the ski areas of Cardrona, Treble Cone and Waiorau Snow Farm near Wanaka.
The airport at Frankton is 10 minutes drive, pick and drop off can be arranged.
