Wine Art & Wilderness provides premium wine, eco and art tours in the Marlborough and Nelson regions of New Zealand. Fully catered wine, eco and art tours are leisurely, informal and designed to cater for all levels of fitness. They are essentially a soft adventure - enticing, always rewarding and taken at a relaxed pace, we follow less traveled routes that provide a spontaneous insight into curious local attractions, historical and contemporary New Zealand life.

Wine Tours – Your enthusiastic wine guide will introduce you to the actual wine creators at the small, family owned, boutique vineyards of both Nelson and Marlborough. Not the usual wine tour but an experience, where often award winning wines are matched with local food delicacies, ensuring visitor expectations are always exceeded.

Art Tours – with almost 400 artists of all disciplines working at their craft in the Nelson region there is no shortage of choice. Probably unique to Nelson is the openness and approachability of the artists and with Art Exposed you are guided and welcomed into many of the working studios and homes to see first hand their skill and talent.

Wilderness Tours – provides unique access to many of New Zealand’s most diverse natural environments. Walking and scenic nature tours in Abel Tasman, Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Parks, Golden Bay and Forest parks and Reserves in the North-Westland and West Coast of the South Island. As the guides passion lies in understanding and interpreting the natural surroundings you will be provided with the ultimate interactive guided experience as you explore the awesome scenery.

 Vehicle - With Wine, Art & Wilderness, you will travel in style. The tour vehicles are Mercedes-Benz; vehicles that will guarantee comfort and safety and some of the first vehicles to exceed both Euro 4 and 5 Environmental standards and they exude quality: every surface is finished with premium materials. The self-adjustable seats are extremely comfortable and you are guaranteed plenty of legroom, while air conditioning ensures that you will feel fresh, even on the hottest day.

Food - Nelson is a food bowl for New Zealand and the locals delight in choosing from the freshest of produce whether it be fruit, vegetables, wine or fish. As all tours are fully catered visitors do get to experience a gourmet lunch. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the day on all tours, sampling the best of the Nelson / Marlborough region and season. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.

Group Size - Each tour is restricted to no more than eleven people. Because each group is small, I can give you a lasting experience that is unique to you. We will be able to access more remote parts of the Nelson region, so you can escape from the crowds and as there will only be a few of us, you will gain an understanding of the remoteness and wild beauty of the places we visit.

The Mercedes-Benz are some of the safest vehicles on the road. They are equipped with an extensive range of safety features, the most reassuring of which is its safety body and high-strength passenger cell.

Once out of the vehicle, you can still be assured of your safety. I am fully qualified in Outdoor First Aid and have undertaken courses in Avalanche Awareness. I am fully licensed to carry passengers and to operate within New Zealand's National Parks.
